Walmart’s Black Friday Deals for Days 2020

In the past few weeks, more and more retailers have announced their plans for this year’s Black Friday sale event, and some of these plans have just been contoured. Not long ago, Walmart, one of the largest retailers in the U.S., has made an announcement regarding its new way of approaching the biggest sale event of the year, calling it ‘an all-new Black Friday experience’.

Consequently, the retailer has recently revealed its Black Friday plans for this year, and the event will include not only a single day of significant discounts on various product categories but three separate events called ‘Black Friday Deals for Days’. The events will begin online and continue in the retailer’s stores, and this approach has been embraced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Walmart will keep its stores closed on Thanksgiving in order to support social distancing and minimize contact, and even if there will be three separate Black Friday sale events, safety measures have been taken and both Walmart customers and workers will be required to respect them.

By offering three separate events across November and including the biggest deals online, the retailer is trying to keep both its customers and associates safer and provide interested shoppers with more chances to get significant price drops on various products.

Some deals will be available online only, while others will be found exclusively in stores. Here is more on what Walmart’s Black Friday 2020 event will look like according to the information provided on the retailer’s official website.

Event 1

The first event of this year’s Black Friday at Walmart is scheduled to begin on November 4 at 7 p.m. ET and will start online. New deals will also roll online the same day yet at 12 a.m. ET.

Event 2

The second Black Friday event held by Walmart will begin online on November 11 at 7 p.m. ET. However, more deals will be added on November 14 at 12 a.m. ET, as well as in stores at 5 a.m. local time.

Event 3

The third and last Black Friday event of this year’s series of sale events will begin online on November 25 at 7 p.m. ET. New deals will roll online on November 27 at 12 a.m. ET. The retailer’s stores won’t be left without these deals as they will land in stores on November 27 at 5 a.m. local time.

What’s on sale this year?

The retailer offers a rich selection of products ranging from furniture to apparel, electronics, and beauty and personal care products, and we can expect deals across all categories. According to the retailer’s official website, discounts will apply to new items from brands such as HP, Roku, LEGO, Shark, Instant Pot, as well as to a variety of Walmart-exclusive products.

Moreover, the retailer has already revealed some of the deals available during the Black Friday Deals for Days event. For example, you will be able to get an onn. 42-inch UHD Roku TV for only $88 on the very first day of the event, November 4. Hotel Style bath towels will also be available for $5. November 7 will bring even greater discounts as the Magic Bullet Blender will be paired with a $15 price tag, while the New Bright 1:6 scale RC Truck will be available only for $40.

Walmart’s annual Tire Event will also be held both online and in stores between November 11 and 13, an event that will provide customers with a $20 off deal as well as free lifetime balance service from the retailer’s Auto Care Centers when purchasing any modular Goodyear tire.

In case you’d like to upgrade your smartphone experience, you will be able to do so and save as well since Walmart will also hold the biggest wireless phone event in its history. The event will take place on November 14 and will include price drops on Samsung phones and iPhones.

Payment and shipping options

Since this year has brought changes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the retailer has also taken safety measures and embraced approaches that ensure a safer shopping experience. You can thus pay via the Walmart app to keep contact at a minimum. Moreover, the retailer offers different delivery methods and has, therefore, introduced the contact-free curbside pickup service in most of its stores.

To make the shopping experience safer, the retailer asks its customers to follow certain rules, such as wearing a mask and forming a single, straight line while waiting to enter its stores. Furthermore, the number of customers allowed into the store will be limited in order to support social distancing and minimize congestion.
